I found it very interesting to have Symbiotic model available and to advise its use for all our children who, unconsciously, as befits their age, are changing basketball courts for video game consoles, forcing them to postural and sedentary habits that will become a plague of consequences in the future, and that demand that we have this type of technology to protect them.

“As an Osteopath, I understand the importance of a good work station set up and the detrimental physiological effects of sitting still for too long, and this is something I speak to patients about daily. I’ve been an active-sitting-chair convert for a few years now and I’m very impressed with the Symbiotic, Read More

The ergonomics and care for our posture is a challenge
Dra. Lisseth María Pèrez García, Anesthesiologist

The ergonomics and care for our posture present a challenge in some professions. My profession and a lumbar surgery I underwent are the two reasons why I have ended up Read More
I am an anesthesiologist and sometimes we spend many hours in an operating room with little possibility of movement. It is essential to provide rest and balance to our spine at times when we remain seated. In addition and as a consequence of a L5-S1 hemilaminectomy 8 years ago, there are some residual paresthesias in the lower limbs that have disappeared during the hours that I have used the advantages of Symbiotic.
Many of us are medical professionals with chronic pain along our spine. My experience has been incredible when using Symbiotic since the natural stability it provides makes my lumbar discs anatomically rest. In addition, the excellent construction and its upholstery make it feasible for use in both the office and the operating room.
Very grateful to finally find a way to work while receiving backcare at the same time.

This symbiotic chair has been a game changer! As an osteopath and posture specialist this chair was received with great gratitude over the “lockdown”.Read More
Symbiotic offers a bespoke and unique service which guarantees a chair that allows one to sit effortlessly for longer periods whilst using the computer with reduced back and hip fatigue.
My favourite part of the design was that the height of the chair was customisable and the seat has a suspension mechanism which prevents gluteal ache.
This would be a great addition to any home / working environment and to a person who is willing to invest in their health and prevent aches/ strains and injuries. I would highly recommend a chair of this calibre to any one of my patients.

I’ve been an osteopath in practice for 23 years now and have been looking for a chair that provides active sitting for ages. This chair does that! The patients who try it find it a bit strange at first as they are use to a firm base Read More

Having suffered from a couple of car accidents in the late 80’s I was left with ongoing sciatica down my left leg for 31 years, I found that I could sit for a while in most chairsRead More
but after about an hour the pain would increase and I would have to get up and move around or go on my re-bounder (which takes up a lot of space and time!). As my work is very stationary (at a computer for up to 12 hours a day) this was creating quite a lot of extra stress in my day. I have invested in many different chairs over the years, some allowed sitting for 2-3 hours some less than an hour without exacerbation of the symptoms. I got the symbiotic active chair 3 days ago and it has been amazing, my core muscles are working better, I can already sit for 2-3 hours with no stiffness upon rising, I feel happier (no doubt because I am not in so much discomfort). I can’t recommend the company enough and chair enough.

The main postural challenge in the workplace that I see in my clients is the result of bad sitting. Most people have no idea about sitting. A chair can help but most chairs do not. Read More
